WELCOME TO THE 2023 SEASON!!
In six weeks we kick off with the Premier Men vs Upper Hutt Rams at Maidstone Park followed by our first home game vs Ories on Saturday 8 April. We are expecting all other grades will start 15 April 23.
Thank you to our Committee and Volunteers for all their hard work in the offseason. We are in good shape for the coming season and we’ve been planning some new initiatives which we’ll outline next issue.
Senior pre-season commenced at Aotea College end of January. Gerrard Fasavalu and his coaching and management team are very positive for the Premier and Premier 2 season ahead.
We also welcome back Colin Webster who will lead the Premier Women’s team for 2023.
The Punters and Presidents kick of their “training” on Wednesdays from 22 February, and we are really excited about fielding an U85’s team this season. To welcome U85’s to the Club, the clubrooms and bar will be opening from 7:30pm on 1st March. Come along and join us for a handle and support the team. If you miss 1 March, don’t worry we are planning a “Welcome to 2023 Season” event Friday 24 March. Open to all Club members, supporters, volunteers, players, coaches, mangers and vitally our sponsors. Details to follow via Facebook and our website.

The Junior Committee held their first Committee meeting for 2023 last week to continue their preparation for the start of the Junior season on 28 April. Junior registrations opened earlier this month and already junior registrations leading the way..
